Do you celebrate Christmas and/or New Years? I do but know people who do not. What did you do for the holidays?
Christmas for me was very nice, the kids went to candlelight service at church with me. This was the first time they agreed to go! We were tired and cold so skipped our usual drive around looking at house decorations. About 8 years ago I became ill with a not yet curable chronic pain issue. This has kept me from doing a lot. But I putter when I can, and visit other peoples gardens, as well as public gardens. I am ever in search of a alternative to grass for my thin soiled, dry as a bone front yard.
This year my daughter wanted a mow free yard so she could take pictures of bugs, critters and plants that might like the yard in a more natural state. We loved it but I don't think it is going to be a regular thing.
